Kanye West Disses Taylor Swift in New Album
Kanye West released a new song and it immediately stirred up trouble. This time, he labeled Taylor Swift, a "bitch," and asserted that he was the main reason for her fame, reigniting a long-running feud.
The "All Day" rapper recently staged a grand fashion and music show at New York's Madison Square Garden, killing two birds with one stone. Famous models Naomi Campbell and Alek Wek showcased his newest fashion collection as they walk to a soundtrack of his newest album, "The Life of Pablo."
The grand party would have been such a success, considering it was even streamed live to over 20 million people via Tidal, save for a song that rubbed people the wrong. The song, entitled "Famous" contained lines that specifically attacked the "Shake it Off" singer. As reported by the Consequence of Sound, In the track, West uttered the controversial lines of "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous."
That two lines were enough to re-start a feud people have long forgotten. The lyrics seemed to allude to the 2009 MTV VMAs incident, when West interrupted Swift's "Best Female Video" speech to essentially say she did not deserve the award.
Apart from Swifties going berserk over this, Swift's loyal friends also took to their social media accounts to defend her. Gigi Hadid, in particular, said that her participation in the event as a model did not mean she agreed with the music playing there. Jaime King also tweeted her disappointment.
My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there. My friends know of my loyalty.

I'm so sad right now & disappointed right now. I stand by my sister. Always.

Swift's brother Austin got so mad that he posted a video of him destroying his Yeezy 350 Boosts.
West's camp, in his defense, said that Swift knew of the lyrics, got that it was just a joke, and allowed him to release the song. This was denied by Swift's camp.
In a statement to People magazine, the "Red" singer's spokesperson shared that Kanye did not really ask for permission when he contacted Swift. Instead, he asked the singer to actually release the single on her Twitter account. "She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message," the spokesperson clarified.
