“House of Cards” Season 4 is set to air on Netflix soon. The new episodes are expected to focus on Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and Claire’s (Robin Wright) troubled marriage as they aspire to reach new political heights.

“Frank and Claire continue their pursuit for power, battling everyone in their way, including each other,” stated the synopsis in the new trailer.

In the final episode of “House of Cards” Season 3, Frank was in the final stage of his presidential campaign, and it seemed to be a tight race. Although he needs Claire more than ever, his wife decides to walk out on him at the last minute after they have been plagued by arguments and troubled thoughts in the past weeks.

Not a lot of details about the upcoming season were revealed, but Bustle wrote that the scenes in the footage may be showing the beginning of the end between the couple’s marriage. It will be the first time that viewers will not see Frank and Claire working together against their political enemies and attempting to achieve their dreams.

According to Fox News, Season 4 of “House of Cards” will also bring in new faces like Joel Kinnaman, Neve Campbell and Ellen Burstyn, among others. It is still uncertain which roles the new cast members are set to play. More new characters are expected to arrive as the season progresses.

Bustle noted that the new season will probably focus a lot on Claire. The trailer also hinted that there will be more murders and violence as President Underwood aims to get re-elected. A tattooed inmate was featured, and there is a possibility of Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) reappearing. Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) also seemed to be back in action. The 60-second footage also revealed sex scenes and blood dripping from a faucet.

At the start of the video, Frank said, “You have no idea what it means to have nothing.” Claire responded that she saw their future together. Frank countered by saying that they had a future until she started to destroy it.

Based on the trailer video and initial rumors, the main focus of “House of Cards” Season 6 will most likely cover Frank and Claire’s separation. It is still unknown whether the two would eventually make peace and reunite at the end, but the following episodes are expected to stir more trouble between them as they battle each other while deciding which is more important – their marriage or their political ambitions.

Season 4 of “House of Cards” is set to premiere on Mar. 4 on Netflix.
