In the Valentine’s Day episode of “Hawaii Five-0,” the members of the team shared their worst Valentine’s Day experiences. They also solved a murder case involving cheating spouses. Some of the characters celebrated the occasion through special dinners, flowers and treats.

In the next episode, titled “Ke Koa Lokomaika'I" or “The Good Soldier,” the Williams family is the target of an FBI investigation again.

Danny had long been dealing with the consequences of Matt’s actions. Although his younger brother died years ago, his crimes still echoed against their family and they again became the focus of an FBI investigation in the upcoming episode. Danno’s brother was last seen alive in Season 1 when he tried to get away from the agency for laundering money for a drug cartel. In Season 5, Matt was revealed to be murdered. The FBI kept Matt’s case open while they searched for the money he stole.

“Sang Min, Five-0's sketchy longtime confidential informant, is accused of murder, so McGarrett(Alex O’Loughlin) asks his old friend Odell Martin to defend him,” the episode synopsis on TV Guide stated.

The same summary also reveals that in “The Good Soldier,” there will be several interesting factors that may thicken the storyline. Danny’s (Scott Caan) mother will be questioned by the FBI. Steve will also work with a guy with autism, since the latter may have the information to solve a murder case, with his only friend as the victim, and more.

Melanie Griffith will return to the series to reprise her role as Clara Williams, Danny’s mom, per Carter Matt. It appears like she will have a significant role in the developing plot. Griffith appeared three times on “Hawaii Five-0” Season 4. There may also be more things in store for McGarrett in the next few episodes.

HW Hills reports that other guest stars in “The Good Soldier” include Christopher Sean (Gabriel Waincroft), Julie Benz (Inspector Abby Dunn), Willie Garson (Gerard Hirsch), Jordan Seguno (Stuart), Joe Egender (Neil Palea), Elissa Dulce (Janet LaRue), Antonio Leon (Howard Fuller), Malia Bautista (Hana Walker), Chase Kim (FBI Special Agent Jason Kang), Monica Barbaro (Ella Koha) and Ingo Rademacher (Robert Coughlin).

The two press releases did not provide a lot of information, but February is usually the time when networks uncover more details on their biggest plots. Fans should expect several surprises and big reveals in the near future.
