Jose Aldo has not exactly been an avid believer of Conor McGregor. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter just made a bold prediction for the current UFC Featherweight champion.

In the eyes of "Scarface," McGregor will get a tough lesson from fellow Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos when the two face off this coming March at UFC 196.

McGregor will try to become the first fighter in UFC history to win titles in two separate divisions, something which has never been done before. As far as Aldo is concerned, "The Notorious" may have bitten off more than he can chew.

“I don’t think he will have any belt by the end of the year. And everyone will forget him. He has this dream, this goal, but you can be sure that he won’t have any (belt) by the end of the year," said Aldo when asked for his take on the upcoming title bout.

McGregor has technically become Brazil’s public enemy no. 1 after his brush with Aldo last year and then against dos Anjos during the UFC press conference.

Last month, McGregor and dos Anjos faced off and the Brazilian champion got a taste of how the Irishman belts out his insults. Rather than react violently, dos Anjos was cold as ice and opted to let his actions do the talking. Instead, it was another Brazilian who came out to air his piece, heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum. Taking exception to the insults, he said he would have slapped McGregor right then and there.

But going back to Aldo, it seems obvious that he wants a rematch against his last tormentor who snagged the title from him in just 13 seconds at UFC 194.

He went on a rant that he should be given an immediate rematch and not Frankie Edgar, who was reportedly in line for a title shot. The ploy seems to have worked but it still depends on how his discussions with president Dana White goes.

Any future plans involving McGregor and the featherweight belt will likely materialize after UFC 196. McGregor is being tipped as a perennial underdog but White expects something special for the man who is able to back up his talk so far.

"I’m a patriot Brazilian and I will always root for a Brazilian no matter what. I will root for him. I wish him all the luck, I hope he wins," Aldo said.

A fourth Brazilian, Anderson Silva, had a friendly warning to McGregor as well – don’t mess with Brazilians. In a previous post, Silva detailed how Chael Sonnen did the trash-talking approach and ended up losing twice against him.

Could McGregor suffer the same fate?
