Sam searched for a little girl who went missing on the latest episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles."

In "One More Chance," a 10-year-old girl named Riley, who Sam (LL Cool J) personally knows, has disappeared. The case hits home for Sam, as he offered protection for her and her family in Saudi Arabia when he was on the task force. The girl's mother, Jessica, is the chief engineer at a company that builds unmanned aerial vehicles.

The team finds that some of her company's software was stolen, and consider that the theft and the kidnapping could be connected. However, the mother insists that her daughter is safe with her estranged husband.

But Sam's hunch is correct; Eric (Barrett Foa) recovers a video that shows that the little girl and her father have both been kidnapped.

Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) find a bomb while investigating the masked men who stole the software. Deeks jumps on top of Kensi to shield her from the explosion, saving her life.

Despite the near-death incident, the episode still features Deeks and Kensi flirting and having light-hearted banter with one another.

Deeks and Kensi then go to a cafe, where Jessica is awaiting the kidnapper's instructions.

Jessica finally receives the kidnappers' text, which NCIS intercepts, and she gets in her car. But she veers off the expected route and pulls into a parking garage, then completely disappears.

Callen (Chris O'Donnell) then begins to question if Jessica is in on the scheme, but Sam insists she's not.

They go back to the cafe to see if there are any odd signs, and find that Jessica was looking at graffiti on a wall, which gave her the message to go to the parking garage.

The NCIS team uses the kidnappers' driver, who they arrested in an earlier undercover shoeshine operation, to find the kidnappers' location.

Sam was correct the whole time, and they find the young girl, along with her mother and father.

In the end, Sam thanks Callen for trusting his judgement, and Granger (Miguel Ferrer) goes out for drinks with Kensi and Deeks.

On the next episode, "Exposure," "A deadly explosion at a military-sponsored charity event is investigated, as is a news reporter's claim of who is responsible."
