After four months of waiting, PC gamers will finally be able to play "WWE 2K16" on their Windows computers. 2K announced on Feb. 17 that the latest version of the famous WWE video game franchise will be released worldwide for Windows on Mar. 11.

The game, developed by Yuke's and Visual Concepts, was released on PlayStation and Xbox consoles at the end of October with Stone Cold Steve Austin on the cover. This is the second time that the "WWE 2K" series will be available for PC following the release of "WWE 2K15" last year.

"If you ask me, Seth Rollins should have been the cover star of 'WWE 2K15,' '2K16' and, of course, be on the cover of all future 'WWE 2K' games to come," WWE Superstar Seth Rollins said.

The game will still have the largest roster in franchise history as well as the "2K Showcase" featuring Steve Austin. "WWE 2K16" can be purchased on the release date for $49.99 with all downloadable content for free. You can also pre-order the game on Steam and get 10 percent off as part of the pre-purchase offer.

Content with Game Purchase

Besides the full "WWE 2K16" game, two playable versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger from the "Terminator" movies will be included. Players can choose to be "T-800" from the original movie or from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day."

Other playable characters included are WWE legends like the Big Boss Man, "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Lita, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Trish Stratus. NXT star Samoa Joe and tag teams "Los Matadores" and Blake and Murphy are also included in the game purchase.

"MyPlayer Kickstart" and "Accelerator" will also be included when you buy the game. "MyPlayer Kickstart" increases the ratings and attributes of a created superstar in "MyCareer" mode while the "Accelerator" gives access to all unlockable content.

30 additional moves will also be available for your created superstar, including Paige's Avalanche Ram, Kevin Owens' Sidewinder Suplex and Finn Balor's Dragon Sleeper. Seven playable matches for the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase mode are also included, like "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair.

System Requirements

"WWE 2K16's" minimum requirement for PC includes a 64-bit, Windows Vista SP2 operating system with a 4 GB Memory RAM. The processor should not be later than an Intel i3-2105 or a Phenom II X2 550.

As for its graphics processing unit, GeForce GTX 460 or the Radeon HD 5870 can run the game with the latest version of DirectX. The PC should have a 44GB space available and a compatible sound card.
