"Fallout 4" was one of the biggest releases last year, but developer Bethesda Game Studios isn't lingering on past successes. The company is already gearing up for more projects, specifically three new titles that offer something different to their ever-expanding fanbase.

During the DICE event in Las Vegas, "Fallout 4" director Todd Howard divulged the plans for other projects beyond their best-selling franchise and another hit series "Elder Scrolls."

"We actually have three kinda longer-term projects we're doing that are all -- we'll talk about them at a much future date, but they're different than anything we've done before, while also being a Bethesda-style game, big and crazy -- in many ways different than things we've done before," Howard explained.

Many fans will be excited at the prospect of more Bethesda Game Studios titles in the works, although they will also expect the continued attention on their two favorite games. Of course, the studio will likely proceed with their many plans for the various franchises.

Most recently, the team announced the first of the add-ons for "Fallout 4": "Automatron," "Wasteland Workshop" and "Far Harbor." The add-ons will be released in March, April and May, respectively at varying price points.

"And more important, that this is only the beginning," Bethesda said. "We have plans for more. More than $60 worth of new 'Fallout' adventures and features throughout 2016."

Since the DLC plan was extended by the developer, they also will be implementing a higher price for the season pass. From $29.99 it will jump to $49.99 by Mar. 1. It's something that will attract a few disappointed fans, but those who already bought the "Fallout 4" season pass for the original price will not need to shell out additional money to get all the features.

Those who are planning to buy the season pass should do it soon. Currently, the developer is still allowing players to purchase it at the original price while also getting the entire worth of the content. Once the start of the next month hits, it will be available at the new, more expensive price point.

"This is our way of saying thanks to all our loyal fans who have believed in us and supported us over the years," the developer stated.

Bethesda Game Studios will also continue to provide free updates of "Fallout 4" including an overhaul of Survival Mode that is reportedly a game-changing experience. The Creation Kit is also in the works, which is expected to allow players to make and play mods.
