After publicly announcing the "conscious uncoupling" of their 10-year marriage in March, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin reunite for a romantic dinner date.

Having two children together, the pair seems like they are putting their best effort to remain as friends, as they met up at the celebrity hot spot Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.

The 41-year-old actress looked stylish as usual in a pair of white shorts, a black top and a blazer, completing her ensemble with a pair of biker ankle boots. Meanwhile, the Coldplay frontman, 38, sported a more casual outfit in a long-sleeved T-shirt and a pair of gray jeans, paired with his sneakers.

After enjoying their intimate dinner together, the former couple did their best to be unnoticed by others as they quickly made an exit through the back door with help from a restaurant employee. Paltrow was the designated driver for the night, as she headed to the driver's side of the vehicle.

Their night out followed Martin opening up about the pair's marriage breakdown for the first time during an interview with Radio 1's Zane Lowe. "About two years ago, I was a mess really because I can't enjoy the thing that we are good at and I can't enjoy the great things around me because I'm burdened by this," he discussed about marital problems with his estranged wife. "I've got to not blame anyone else and make some changes."

"I wouldn't use the word breakdown, this was more a realization about trying to grow up basically," he continued. "If you can't open yourself up, you can't appreciate the wonder inside. So you can be with someone very wonderful but because of your own issues, you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way."

"What changed for me was -- I don't want to go through life being scared of it, being scared of love, being scared of rejection, being scared of failure," he added.
