For those who are looking forward to the next iteration of "Red Dead Redemption," chances are it might see the light of day soon. For gamers and fans who are dying to play "Red Dead Redemption 2," here's the latest scoop about the anticipated game.

E3 2016

Among the biggest events that gamers and the video game developers are looking forward to, is Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. The said event is the annual gathering for the video game industry, where new games and any game-related merchandise will be introduced. The upcoming event will be held in Los Angeles convention center on June 14 to June 16.

Take-Two Will Join E3

Take-Two revealed that they would be part of it. The mother company of Rock Star and 2K is occupied with several games. In fact, CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed that they will have a $250,000 eSport event for their NBA 2K16 franchise. The tournament is inspired by the series in their popular basketball video game and the winner will take home $250,000, plus a free ticket to the NBA finals.

The said event is a big surprise from Take-Two but there is more. When asked if fans have something to look forward to in terms of "Red Dead Redemption 2," Zelnick opted to keep the details private but hinted that they are preparing for something grand. "We will be there in a big way," he said.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" Details Leak

Before "Read Dead Redemption 2" was officially announced, two former Rockstar employees hinted that the title is coming.

A listener asked Danny Ross, an ex-Rockstar employee, if there is something new from Rockstar. Ross answered with a cryptic message and said, "Really? Dumbass. Really? Two." The listeners were quick enough to pick up the leads and interpret it as "Red Dead Redemption 2."

AnonDN1978  is another former Rockstar employee who revealed the same report about the game. However, his revelations were more specific and condensed. He teased that the next game will be titled "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West" and that two characters will be joining the gameplay.

Two New Characters

AnonDN1978 shared that two main characters will be arriving in "Red Dead Redemption 2" -- Irish and Seth. The former lives in Ireland but then decided to move to the United States at the age of 15. He will be introduced in the game when he is 21.

Meanwhile, Seth is a bank teller in Kansas who heard about the treasure in Tumbleweed, Texas. He will use his savings to move to the place, but the plot will be more difficult and challenging for him because he will eventually lose his family and possessions for the said treasure.
