Anderson Silva will once again be in the Octagon and he will be up against one tough adversary in Michael Bisping.

The two are set to meet for UFC Fight Night 83, which can only be viewed via UFC Fight Pass.

UFC events are normally available via pay-per-view subscriptions through local cable companies but such will not be the case -- at least for UFC Fight Night 83 per UFC senior vice president Eric Winters.

"We know our customers are at the digital forefront," said Winter. "We are seeing customers searching on mobile devices four times more than on their desktop. The consumption is still on desktop but eking out into mobile."

It remains to be seen how this could affect viewership for UFC Fight Night 83 but it does offer something different and modern for folks who want to catch the cards with comfort and flexibility.

Going back, Silva will be looking to come back once again after being meted a year-long suspension.

It will be recalled that Silva did make a return in January 2015 when he faced Nick Diaz for UFC 183. Though he won that match, the results were overturned and changed to a no-contest following failed drug tests.

Aside from being suspended for a year, Silva was also fined heftily for that issue at about $380,000.

With all that over and done with, it is time for “The Spider” to start anew at 40-years-old against a motivated opponent in Bisping.

For Bisping, it is a fulfillment on his part to finally face the man he had fallen short of fighting in the past. He had a chance to do so before but fell to Dan Henderson and Chael Sonnen.

Though there is nothing more at stake other than pride, the British fighter is primed and ready for Silva. He is riding on a two-fight winning streak with wins over Thales Leites and C.B. Dollaway.

On the other end, Silva believes he has much left in the tank despite his age. As for the drug issues tied up with his career, he made it clear that such has not been a distraction or something that has tarnished his legacy.

"No, I don't think so. I don't think it affects my legacy, but this last year I haven't spoken much because I've been focusing on my training and my fight," said Silva to MMA Fighting.

Silva and Bisping headline UFC 183, which takes place at the O2 Arena in London. Folks who want to get hold of UFC Fight Pass can do so here.

Preliminaries kick off at 7 p.m. ET with the main cards expected to commence starting at 10 p.m. ET.
