The official dates and details have been announced for Hispanicize 2016, the largest gathering of Latino influencers in the United States.

According to the Hispanicize website, the event, which attracts over 3,000 Latino entrepreneurs, professionals and trendsetters, will run from April 4 to April 8 at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami. Experts and influential Latinos from various industries, such as digital content, marketing, journalism, music, film and business, will take part in conferences and panels.

On the official Twitter account, Hispanicize has been announcing the speakers and workshop leaders as they are confirmed.

Some of the workshops include "The Power of Pinning" with Alejandra Ramos and "Click! Mastering Branding and Engagement on Instagram" with Erika Batista. Speakers will discuss topics such as broadcast journalism and video creation to name a few.

While the event is now in its seventh year, this is the first time that it will include the Tecla Awards as part of its schedule. The award ceremony, in a partnership with Telemundo, will honor those professionals who have demonstrated excellence in marketing and digital content creation. Telemundo will present the Social Innovation Award, which honors an individual innovator whose work has had a big impact on society and who has explored new trends. The subject categories include topics such as beauty, comedy, fashion, film, food, technology, health and wellness, kids and family, and Latino news and culture. Some of new categories include Best Latin Artist using Social Media and Most Admired Latino Celebrity on Social Media. All 20 nominations are now open and will remain open until March 7. The award show will then be aired live on April 7.

The founder and creative director of Hispanicize and the Tecla Awards, Manny Ruiz, expressed the impact of Latinos and digital media in a statement.

“This is the Golden Age for Latino creators as brands, agencies and media companies themselves recognize that all traditional media paradigms are shifting to online,” said Ruiz. “The 2016 Tecla Awards captures this evolution and will raise the bar for the creators, media and marketing industries that comprise the U.S. Hispanic online community.”

While celebrity guests haven't been announced, over the last few years stars like Carlos Vives, Sheila E., Don Francisco and Carlos Ponce have made appearances.
