Despite his repeated boasts suggesting that he is expecting to net significant Latino support, a new Gallup Poll finds that Republican front-runner Donald Trump is looked upon unfavorably by more than three in every four Latino voters.

The Gallup Poll finds a staggering 77 percent of Latinos have such a view of Trump, compared to just 12 percent who have a positive opinion of him. Trump's net favorability score on negative -65 is far lower than any of his remaining GOP rivals, who all have an average score of around zero among Latinos.

Trump may not top Romney's Dismal 27 Percent Latino Support

Perhaps even more tellingly as it relates to the upcoming general election in November, Trump's score is notably worse than that of 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who managed to secure just 27 percent of the Latino vote that year.

Even among Latino Republicans, Gallup found Trump suffers from an in-the-toilet rating of negative-29.

Meanwhile, Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, the other GOP presidential hopefuls, all have positive readings among Latino Republicans.

On the Democratic side, both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have net positive ratings among Latinos, particularly Clinton who is viewed favorably by 59 percent of Latinos, compared to just 26 percent that have a negative image of her.

Several other recent polls have also came to similar conclusions about Trump's rising dilemmas with nonwhite voters.

Clinton Very Popular Among Latinos

A Washington Post/ABC News poll released earlier this month found in a general election showdown against Clinton, Trump managed to attract just one in five on nonwhite voters.

In the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal survey, two-thirds of all voters insisted they could not see themselves casting a ballot for Trump, with the figure jumping to an even more eye-popping 84 percent among nonwhite voters.

Finally, a separate NBC News/SurveyMonkey tracking poll concluded that Trump was viewed unfavorably by 86 percent of black voters and 75% of Latinos.

Overall, roughly 80 percent of all voters in that poll insisted that they have a negative view of Trump, with about seven in 10 of them adding their view was "very unfavorable."
