President Barack Obama and Cuban President Raul Castro were both present to witness the first baseball game between the two nations since 1999. The Tampa Bay Rays played against Cuba's national team with Tampa winning 4-1.
"There is something about baseball that is so fundamentally woven into our culture," Obama told ESPN. "At a time in our lives where everything is a mile a minute, there is nothing like going to a ballpark and everything slowing down a bit."
