"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans are counting down until Feb. 13, 2015, when they will see some rising stars embody their favorite characters. Until then, you can catch the "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast walking the red carpet and being silly.

Both Dakota Johnson, who plays the lead of Anastasia Steele, and Rita Ora, who plays Christian Grey's sister Mia, attended the Met Gala on May 5, which, of course, was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Johnson wore an elegant dark blue gown designed by Jason Wu which was emphasized with a lack of jewelery. The 24-year-old posed with her designer on the red carpet while donning long, formal gloves.

Meanwhile, Ora, 23, had Jason Rembert, her stylist, pick her dress for the event. Rembert began the task in March and recruited the help of Donna Karan Atelier. Eventually, the design team came up with a strapless sequined gold gown with an extravagant trail. Rembert kept quiet about the find.

"He and his assistant kept it a secret because they wanted to surprise Rita with the gown," Aliza Licht, senior vicepresident of global communications at Donna Karan International, said in an interview with Us Weekly.

When Ora finally did see the gown, Licht says she was "over the moon." On the red carpet, Ora said that her favorite part about the dress was "the color." The singer-turned actress completed the look with custom-made gladiator hells by Casadei, Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick in Red Alert and slicked back hair courtesy of Chris Appleton and Garnier Fructis products.

Yesterday, Johnson was also spotted goofing around with BBC "Sherlock" actor Benedict Cumberbatch. The pair reportedly grabbed lunch together in New York City's Lower East Side. Wetpaint reports that upon noticing the paparazzi, Johnson's lunch date "jokingly hid his face underneath some napkins while flashing a thumbs up to the camera." Check out pictures here.

The movie adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel also stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson.
