A Child is Kidnapped in Public And Not One Person Does Anything About it
A child was kidnapped in public as part of a social experiment in China and the way people reacted to the incident is the most shocking part.
Chinese blogger Dapeng decided to conduct a social experiment to bring attention to the issue of missing children in China.
According to the video, more than 200,000 children go missing in China every single year and only about one percent of them are ever found.
In the video, Dapeng follows a child in public and quickly runs up behind him. He then pretends to put a cloth covered in chloroform over the boy's mouth as he acts scared and screams.
While that is a disturbing sight, the even more shocking part is that those watching the fake kidnapping don't take any initiative at all.
A few people watch the screaming child being picked up by the random man and seemed concerned but they don't bother to do anything about it. Dapeng stresses that this is a big problem.
"Your child may be the next kidnapped person," said Dapeng. "Make sure you do something about it when you face something that doesn't seem right. You can change a child's lifetime."
