These days, people have come along way when it comes to playing the dating game. We've become a lot more discerning and wiser than ever to see beyond what is skin-deep and superficial. We've come to terms with the fact that we can't just leave our chances of finding the right one to frivolity.

And with this in mind, the leading online dating company Zoosk has come up with Burrit-OH! -- one of the most ingenious, groundbreaking and savviest mobile dating sites that matches daters based on their burrito compatibility.

"Today's daters are more sophisticated than their predecessors," said Zoosk Software Engineer Roger Flanagan, who also made some significant contributions in developing the new dating app. "They're tired of matching on trivial things and are looking for a more meaningful way to connect. We've found that way, and that way is burritos."

Here's How it Works

Once you're all signed up, you then have to pick from a roster of 32 ingredients that make up your ideal burrito. You can choose from a set of different tortillas, like flour and wheat, or pick from a wide array of various fillings, such as meats, rice, beans and veggies.

After choosing your perfect burrito, the app will then calculate your compatibility with others using algorithms and mathematical formulas, or so the developers say. You'll get to see different matches for yourself and you can also chat with them.

"It calculates what percentage of burrito match you are based on how you fill out the 32 items in your burrito order," said Robin Keller, Senior Engineer for Zoosk. "It's not like we're doing the work of Harvard grads or anything, but I learned percentages in middle school and they're a pretty effective tool for this sort of thing."

And, if you think that this dating app is just some April Fool's prank and that the developers were trying to pull one over on you, think again. The Zoosk team did "extensive research," which involved perfecting user experience and other important app elements, like its layout.

Start a Burrito Conversations with Your Perfect Match

Since the dating app caters to burrito lovers, it doesn't matter if you are the most timid or introverted type who squirms at the thought of talking to a potential partner for the first time. With Burrit-Oh, you can break the ice by talking about your kind of burrito, your favorite burrito joke or quotes, or just how much you can't live without these tasty and delightful wraps in your life.

The novel dating experience, however, will only run for a week. The developers introduced Burrit-OH! back on April 1 and it will wrap up (pun intended) on April 8. So for all those who want to give it a shot, you better act fast before all is lost between you and your burrito soulmate.
