"Game of Thrones," Season 6 News: Liam Cunningham Talks About the new Season With Conan O'Brien
"Game of Thrones" star Liam Cunningham recently appeared on an episode of "Conan" to talk about the upcoming season of the popular HBO series.
Cunningham, who stars as Ser Davos Seaworth, looked on as host Conan O'Brien unveiled a never-before seen season six premiere clip in which Ser Davos draws his sword to protect the corpse of Jon Snow. The extended footage also highlights Onion Knight banding with several of Lord Commander's supporters to protect his remains from members of the Night Watch forces that slayed him, among them Ser Alliser Thorne and Olly.
Fans Want to Know About Jon Snow
Fans have long speculated about Jon Snow's fate, with CNN recently reporting a trailer for the series shows the Three-Eyed Raven character played by Max von Sydow uttering, "We watch, we listen and we remember. The past is already written. The ink is dry."
Kit Harrington stars as Jon Snow and the series is slated to officially return on April 24.
Bran Stark Goes Into a Trance
In the trailer, CNN also reported flashbacks feature Snow's half-brother Bran Stark appearing to go into a trance as he devilishly reflects, "They have no idea what's going to happen."
The series has easily proven to be one of HBO's most popular, with season five rating among its most drama filled. Stannis Baratheon, Selyse, Meryn Trant and Myrcella were all killed off in the finale.
As for Snow, CarterMatt reports he died at the hands of Night Watch members after being repeatedly stabbed.
Proving nearly just as shocking was the death of Myrcella. It was provoked by Ellaria Sand's frantic desire to extract revenge for what previously happened to Oberyn. Her demise only figures to make things worse for the entire family in Dorne, already handicapped by a thin and less than imposing troop of armed forces.
