A report released on May 31 by the Marriott International and the Hurun Report reveals a growing number of second-generation rich kids who live luxurious lives.

According to the report, China's generation y, who are between the ages of 18 and 35, spends over 65k on trips to different countries every 3-4 months.

They also spend an average of about $500 a night on hotel luxurious accommodations.

Not only do millennials spend on a regular basis but they also spend over $34,000 a year on designer items such as clothing, jewelry, watches and handbags while traveling around the world.

Their accommodations at hotel and resorts have to be top notch as well and require a variety of personalized experiences which include being catered to.

"They seek a tailored guest experience, including a selection of pillows and personalized service through a butler or interactive digital channels," reads the study.

Not only do their experiences have to be one of a kind, but there is also a highly desired destination.

Over 60 percent of those who traveled last year went to Europe, with Paris being one of the biggest cities.
