Chick-fil-A Free Food Day, Today, Jul. 12, 2016 – Menu Includes Chicken Sandwich, Wrap or Biscuit; 'Cow Appreciation Day' Rules
How far would you go for the taste of Chick-fil-A? In recognition of Cow Appreciation Day on Tuesday, July 12, company officials are offering free food to all customers who appear dressed as a cow at one of the chain's more than 2,000 restaurants nationwide.
What Makes you Eligible for Promotion? What are the Rules?
To be eligible for the promotion, company officials stress customers can be dressed "head to hoof" in cow attire, or simply sport a cow accessory. The cow has stood as a company mascot for nearly the last two decades along with the slogan "Eat Mor' Chikin."
Among the free entrees being offered are the original grilled chicken sandwich, the grilled chicken cool wrap or the chicken biscuit. Kids can also receive a free Kid's Meal by dressing is a cow costume.
"Cow Appreciation Day is the one day where it's okay to dress 'udderly' crazy and get rewarded for it," said Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A's senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "The event also affords our guests the chance to explore our menu."
This will be the 12th year the chicken chain has offered the free promotion, which run from the time store open up until 7 p.m.
Company Continues to Soar
Based in Atlanta, Chick-fil-A remains a family owned and privately held venture that has now spread to 43 states and netted more than $6 billion in sales last year.
The company also earned a top spot in the 2015 Customer Service Hall of Fame for the second year in a row, the only quick service restaurant in existence to such hall of fame distinction. Chick fil-A was also the only restaurant brand named to the Top 10 "Best Companies to Work For" by 24/7 Wall Street
