The Tuesday, July 19 Mega Millions jackpot has jumped to $25 million after there were no grand prize winners in the July 15, $20 million game.
After no player won more than $10,000 in the most recent drawing, a single winner in Tuesday's game will have the option of collecting on a $17 million cash option, lump sum payment.
The winning numbers in the July 15 game were 16, 51, 52, 56 and 58. The winning Gold Mega Ball number was 4 and the Megaplier was 2. Be sure to check back at his page for a real time posting of the winning numbers in Tuesday's game.
Odds at 1 in 259 Million
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m ET. Five balls are drawn from a set of white balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 259 million.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each. You can watch a live stream of Tuesday night's draw.
Powerball at $361 Million
Meanwhile, the next Powerball drawing is slated for Wednesday night, July 20, with the jackpot having jumped to $361 million with a cash option of $250.3 million.
The winning numbers in the July 16 game were 11, 17, 40, 50 and 62, while the Red Powerball Power number was 26 and the Power Play number was 2.
In Saturday's game, four players matched all five white ball numbers to earn winnings of $1 million each, with one of the players also playing the Power Play option to increase their winnings to $2 million.
The winning tickets were sold in Iowa, Colorado, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Overall, there were 1, 163, 372 players who won at least $4 each.
