Get ready, Chris Brown fans: Chris Brown might just be coming home sooner than we think.

On Friday, the "Loyal" singer admitted to violating his probation after getting arresting for a previous fight he had in Washington, D.C., last year.

Following his admission, Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin sentenced the 25-year-old singer to a year in prison, but according to CNN, Brown's lawyer believes that the pop singer will gain his freedom as soon as this week.

"I would expect that Chris should be out of jail before the weekend's up or before Monday," his lawyer Mark Geragos told CNN after the hearing.

He continued, "If he isn't out by Monday, then I would expect he's getting special treatment. He's got over 230 days credit on a 365 (day sentence), and generally the sheriff is releasing on a lot less than that."

Brown's "jail credit" includes the 116 days he spent in rehab and another 59 days he's spent behind bars.

Though that only adds up to 175 days of credit, TMZ reported that Chris gets credit for two days for every one he served behind bars, so when you add it up, he has credit for 234 days -- 6 days shy. So he could be released in days.

TMZ also speculated that Brown may have gotten some leeway because of his recent diagnosis of bipolar disorder that was accounted for his series of violent behavior.

In addition to his sentencing, Judge Brandlin also ordered Chris to attend therapy sessions two times a week and also be subject to random drug testing three times a week.

Brown also has another thing to look forward to other than his freedom. His latest single "Loyal" featuring Lil' Wayne and Tyga has been dominating the music charts making the song Brown's 13th Top 10 song on Billboard's top 100 list.

Let's hope this is lesson learned for Chris Brown, and he stays out of trouble.
