An Indiana couple recently stepped forward to claim the $536 million prize they won in a Mega Millions drawing earlier this month. While the couple has decided to remain anonymous, a spokesperson for them recently attended a press conference held by lottery officials.

"They are completely dedicated to continuing to be who they are," said spokeswoman Lauren Littlefield said, adding that the family lived north of Indianapolis. "They want their kids to go to the schools they were going to go to anyway. They are very conscious of who are their friends."

Lottery director Sarah Taylor said the couple purchased five tickets with computer-generated numbers at a gas station along Interstate 70 near the small eastern Indiana town of Cambridge City, while heading to a youth sporting event.

The couple has elected to take a $271 million, cash option payment.
