Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, otherwise known as Shakira, is nothing short of a global icon. Few artists have gained the level of international fame and recognition through her talent and tenacity. She reports writing her first song lyrics at age 8 and had her first album released by 13. But it was her breakthrough album "Pies Descalzos" that saw Shakira skyrocket international superstardom in 1995.

Following a lifelong passion for the performing arts, Olmos began his public career as a lead singer in various "garage bands and took smaller parts in films until he got his big break with the television show Miami Vice.

Olmos is also well known for his activism work, such as his recent involvement with encouraging Latinos to vote. His greatest and most passionate cause is children's rights and offering both support and advice to kids at risk.
