Anthony Weiner Wife Tweets Separation from the Politician Amidst Surfacing of Latest Sexting Screenshot, Weiner Deletes Twitter
American Politician Anthony Weiner was caught in another sexting scandal and this time his wife, Huma Abedin, publicly announced her separation from him, a big step away from their marriage counseling following his 2011 U.S. Representative resignation at the height of his first sexting allegations.
“After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband,” Abedin tweeted. “Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our world. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy.”
Following Abedin's Monday announcement, Weiner reportedly deleted his Twitter account.
The image is dated July 31, 2015, sent at 3 a.m. when the former representative allegedly discussed massage parlors near his old apartment with the unidentified woman.
Abedin was campaigning throughout the U.S. for Hillary Clinton at the time as she served as vice chairman of the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign.
Anthony Weiner Latest Sexting Scandal
Weiner and the unidentified woman began texting in late January 2015 and continued throughout the summer. The former congressman said they “have been friends for a while” and refused to identify the woman.
“She has asked me not to comment except to say that our conversations were private, often included pictures of her nieces and nephews and my son were always appropriate,” Weiner said.
In the conversation leaked by The Post, Weiner told the 40-something brunette that his son had crawled into bed with him.
“Really?” she responded.
He then sent her a shot of his genitals bulging through his briefs while his son lied next to him, wrapped in a blanket.
He later joked about his former scandal when he posted his inappropriate photo to public chat instead of sending it through a direct message.
“Oooooh…. I was scared,” Weiner said. “For half a second I thought I posted something. Stop looking at my crotch.”
“Whatever. You did it on purpose,” the divorced brunette shot back.
The unidentified woman sent Weiner several photos of herself as well as a photo of herself in a black bikini showing cleavage, and one where she captioned “Buns of steel” in a photo where she wore a pair of black rights with a rip in the rear near the midline.
