A win for Uruguay would solidify its position in the top five. A loss could potentially see the team fall out of the top spot if Argentina, Brazil or Colombia (or tie each other), Ecuador and Chile win their respective games.

Uruguay held the top spot in the CONMEBOL heading into last week's fixture but is now potentially a victim of the tight standings.
