Arsenal and FC Basel Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Champions League 2016-17
Arsenal and FC Basel meet in the Champions League 2016-17 group stage on Wednesday.
Arsenal is lucky to enter this game with one point. The team was woefully outplayed by Paris Saint-Germain in the first game of the group stage but was salvaged by two reasons. One of those reasons was Edinson Cavani's poor finishing for PSG.
But the other reason, the more encouraging one for Arsenal, was the play of David Ospina. The keeper, who struggled in this tournament last season, was aggressive in coming off his line to cut down PSG's breakaway attacks. He shut down many of Cavani's own chances and kept Arsenal alive to the end. The 1-1 draw was a result of his play.
FC Basel threw away a point late in its game with Ludogorets Razgrad and will be inching for a big performance in London.
Prediction
This will be a tough game for the English side, even though they should be favorite to win at home. The Gunners will find a way, though it won't be easy. This will end 2-1 for the English side.
