As stated by Forbes, Nintendo has been building the wrong kind of hype for the NX, and they need more than five months for a turn around. That explains the scheduled release on March 2017.

A burden on Nintendo is that they really need to hit that target for March to satisfy their investors, this gives some sort of conformation that Nintendo NX will surely be released on March 2017.

Rumors stated Nintendo will be portable and it will be placed around another touch screen. It also might have detachable controllers for mobile play. This is surely exciting for the fans as it is an added advantage. Based on all the rumors, it also seems that Nintendo will have a docking station for game play.

As stated on Tech Radar it is claimed to deliver a couple of Nintendo firsts, which is a split D-pad and a share button. The idea of the share button is similar to those seen on Sony's PS4. Nintendo faced a huge barricade for their high initial price tags.

The greatest success of the company was due to the huge risk they took initially with its top selling Nintendo DS. With the leaks of updates and release dates, it seems that Nintendo has no other option but to launch the NX in March 2017 or probably earlier.
