The strong order of alcohol may have played a factor in the tragic death of Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez and his two friends who perished in a boat crash off South Beach last month, according to search warrant affidavit.

Fernandez was seen as the future prospect of major league baseball. In just 24 years of age, Fernandez had 76 career starts during his three years with Miami Marlins, striking it over 500 opponents. He was the shining star of Baseball.

The divers recovering the bodies of the Fernandez, 24, his friends Emilio, 27, and Eduardo Revere, 25, said they had a strong alcohol odor on them.

The warrant alleges investigators found evidence that the boat's driver of the vessel was driving with "recklessness" that was exacerbated by the consumption of strong order of alcohol.

The warrant was prepared so that the investigators would search boat and its two engines by using GPS system, reported by The Independent Journal Review.

Both of boating homicide and vessel homicide is currently investigating the crash. It is unclear what charges, if any, could be brought into the case.

Fernandez died on September 25 by the accident when his 32- foot SeaVee slammed into the Government cut North Jetty. Though it is not confirmed that Fernandez was driving the boat or not.

Toxicology tests have been completed for all three men. They cite an exemption in the public records law for the open criminal. The result of the autopsies is ready but have not been released either.

Wildlife investigators found a receipt of alcohol from American Social Bar and Kitchen in Brick fell from the pocket of one of the men. All the three men had water in the lungs and trauma consistent with boat crash. Earlier the month Fernandez was seen fighting with his girlfriend, reported by FOX NEWS

One week before his death, the baseball star announced he was expecting a baby with his girlfriend Maria Arias.
