Scottie Pippen's dislike towards the Kardashians among reasons behind divorce with ex-wife Larsa
Former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen filed for divorce from his wife, Larsa Pippen on October 18. The pair split up after 19 years of marriage. Things have been pretty tough for the NBA icon and former "The Real Housewives of Miami" star as cops witnessed their verbal arguments.
It is speculated that Scottie, who won six NBA titles with the Bulls, split up with Larsa mainly because they've spent separate lives from one another for quite some time. A report from E! noted that Larsa has been living in Miami with their four children: Justin, Sophia, Scottie Jr and Preston, while Scottie is in Chicago to tend to his businesses.
According to a statement of Scottie's lawyer Robert Stanley, the NBA icon has been trying so hard to ask for consideration from the press. Scottie is asking for privacy as his marriage with Larsa comes to an end. Rumors said that the main reason for their divorced is because of the rift created from spending their lives away from one another.
The Pippens were last seen wearing their respective rings while attending an event to support their daughter; Sophia, for the New York Fashion Week three months ago. Another angle for divorce revolves around Larsa's solid friendship with Kim and Kourtney Kardashians, which Scottie doesn't like that much. It is understood that Scottie dislikes the Kardashians' way of describing themselves on Instagram, making him think that his wife should be out of it, Hollywood Life has reported.
After 19 years of being together, Larsa and Scottie mutually agreed to end their marriage with the filing of divorce. Even though they're no longer together, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will do everything to achieve the perfect life for their four children, and raise them with love and respect.
