Fulham vs. Liverpool Live Stream, Score, Preview, Prediction: EPL 2013-14
Liverpool will look to continue its terrific season when it takes on last place Fulham on Wednesday.
The Reds are coming off arguably their best performance of the year as they dismantled Arsenal 5-1 in front of their home fans. Most impressive about the win, aside from the final score, was how the team managed to get there. Just 20 minutes into the game, Liverpool had assembled a 4-0 win and had thoroughly exposed Arsenal's defense.
More shockingly still was the fact that superstar Luis Suarez, who leads the Premier League with 23 goals, was kept off the scoreboard completely despite having a few chances to build on his team's lead.
The team's 50 points puts it seven behind first place but a win on Wednesday will pull Liverpool within three or four points of first place depending on Arsenal's performance against Manchester United.
The team will take on last place Fulham; the Premier League bottom-dwellers are well aware that their task on Wednesday will not be an easy one.
"How do you stop them? They've had an incredible season, the pace and the penetration, the variety and the unpredictability in the way they can all score goals," said Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen, according to ESPN. "So it has to be all hands on deck for us to make sure that we defend in a good, compact manner, that we keep communicating, don't leave gaps for them to get through and play through."
Prediction: Liverpool wins 4-0.
Start Time: The ball starts rolling at 2:45 p.m. EST.
