Microsoft Surface Phone release date, specs: Official details could come in January 2017
The Microsoft Surface Phone is another technological breakthrough by the US tech goliath that may meet its official release on January 2017 or early spring.
The new Microsoft smartphone may have at least three variants. Speculations and rumors about the technological aspect of this upcoming smartphone have spread all around, yet Microsoft has not officially confirmed any of these.
According to Vine Report, this rumored gadget will retain the Microsoft Surface's trademark with the "all-metal body device." Rumored specs include the Carl Zeiss 20-megapixel premium back camera with loads of fantastic tech-related features for everybody's convenience.
Technological conveniences include a barometer, compass, fingerprint reader, and proximity sensor. Many people speculate the phone variants to run in the latest operating system for mobile, the Windows 10. Speculations even say that the smartphone may run on the Intel Atom X3 processor.
Its premium variant may have at least 8 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the low-end variant will be 3GB. All three variants will have a starting 512 GB in their storage capacities. Regarding its display, a 5.5-inch AMOLED will be at work here.
One spectacular highlight this wonderful gadget may feature is the fingerprint scanner. This type of scanner may even appear on both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the iPhone, with both smartphones slated to come out next year.
The Lumia smartphone series' moderate success made many people to believe that Microsoft will be more patient with this upcoming device. They expect this to be more innovative, highly functional, more hi-tech and stylistic and even more user-friendly.
