People en Español 50 Más Bellos 2014: A Celebrity Celebration of Beauty and Achievement
Every year, the People en Español "Los 50 Más Bellos" party is one of the most prestigious entertainment events for Latinos. With all the hype and excitement, it could be compared to the Latin Grammy's in Las Vegas. Celebrities and media big shots joined together once again for the big celebration on Monday at La Capitale in New York City.
Monday night's celebration started with a spectacular interactive red carpet that featured a Toyota car, live streaming and plenty of fan interaction. Ricky Martin presented "Premio a La Excelencia" to actress Rita Moreno, and super stars like Emilio Estefan, Angélica Vale, Henry Santos, Marlon Moreno "El Capo" and many others presented.
But stars aside, seriously, what makes this party so successful? People en Español Los 50 Más Bellos is strategically planned to take place during the Upfront week when all the top media executives come to the Big Apple to showcase next year's programing. As People en Español is a print outlet, this event is also the perfect setting for a non-competitive environment among television stations and celebrities from Univision, Telemundo, MundoFOX and other media outlets to join under the same roof for a common purpose: beauty.
