Did Kurt Cobain Really Predict Donald Trump's 2016 U.S Presidential Victory?
The election of Donald Trump in the 2016 U.S presidential election may have come as a surprise for many people, wherein the prediction of his presidency have been foretold by those that are now deceased. One of the forecasters was Kurt Cobain, Nirvana's late singer-songwriter.
In 1993, Nirvana was the forerunners of angst and grunge music at its height and it was a driven genre music for teenagers of the early 1990s. And, in late 1980's, Donald Trump tried recovering his real estate by trying to rebuild his fallen empire.
And, in 1994 Kurt Cobain was overcome with depression, taking his own life and it was a loss of a young talent. By the 1990's grunge genre is slowly disappearing while Trump, on the other hand, was rebuilding his empire. He then went on to show his power and made Hollywood-grade celebrity status with reality TV shows like "The Apprentice," as reported by EarnTheNecklace.
According to the UNILAD, the viral predictions of Donald Trump's presidential victory kicked off with an image posted earlier this year on Trump's Facebook page, Trump Train. It is claimed that in the 1990's, ill-fated Nirvana frontman endorsed the wispy haired-tyrant, could be right for the people.
Rumor has it that there was a quote said by Cobain "In the end, I believe my generation will surprise everyone. We already know that both political parties are playing both sides from the middle and we'll elect a true outsider when we fully mature. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not a business tycoon who can't be bought and who does what's right for the people. Someone like Donald Trump as crazy as that sounds."
Snopes, the online fact finder investigated the matter and found it to be fraudulent on many levels. It looks like Kurt Cobain never made this comment and this was one of those fake memes online.
