X-Men new sequel: 'The New Mutants' movie, updates from producer Kinberg here!
A new installment form the creative team of X-Men is said to be producing a new film titled "The New Mutants."
According to GameNGuide, Mistique and Wolverine will be saying goodbye for this new X-Men sequel. Simon Kinberg, the producer of X-Men films have mentioned in a report that Professor Charles Xavier played by James McAvoy will be back and he will join "The New Mutants." Moreover, this new sequel will be featuring mysterious mutants.
For the cast of "The New Mutants," the main characters include Dani Moonstar (Mirage), Illyana Rasputin (Magik), Samuel Guthrie (Cannonball), Roberto da Costa (Sunspot), and Rahne Sinclair (Wolfsbane). Moreover, Game of Thrones' star Maisie Williams is eyed to be the Wolfsbane for this new sequel, while Viking Quested's Anya Taylor-Joy might be play as Magik The Witch. In addition, there are also speculations that Nat Wolff who is one of the actors in "The Fault in our Stars" might be suggested to play as Cannoball.
Even if there is no official release from the 20th Century Fox, the X-Men production partner, Producer Simon Kinberg also revealed that they may start shooting the new sequel early of 2017. However for the date of this film to hit cinemas, it is estimated to be on the spring of 2018.
Meanwhile in a report of Cinema Blend, the main villain for this new sequel "The New Mutants" will be the Demon Bear. For the record, "The New Mutants" comics featuring Demon Bear was released in May 1983. The villain is a giant bear that possess lots of power from negative energies. Also, this Demon Bear has captured the various members of "The New Mutants" in the comic book stories. Well, this comic book series might give some hints to the excited fans of X-Men series.
