"The Walking Dead" S7: Judith's Death Long Overdue; Negan Will Kill Baby as Midseason Thrill
How low can you go, Negan? Season 7 of "The Walking Dead" is nearing its midseason break and it's not going to go on recess that easily. Rumors say that big bad boy Negan is going to leave a scar so deep that fans would be missing him this yuletide season. He will kill baby Judith.
Comic Book got into details as to why this could happen. First of all, Judith has died in the comic book about 100 issues before Negan even arrived in the scene. She died while Lori ran away from prison. Lori got hit by a stray bullet and then fell over Judith, killing her instantly.
The sight of Negan playing and giggling as he held Judith in his arms is nothing to be happy about. He's not about to make a change of heart because of a bubbly baby. He intends to kill her, just like he plans to kill Carl and the other survivors.
Anne Hurd, executive producer of "The Walking Dead" said that Negan can do anything that he wants. Showing a tender side might tick people off so there is a huge possibility that he is going to hurt the child as a midseason thrill.
Meanwhile, Parent Herald mentioned that Judith's death could start a rebellion which will become the focus of season 7B. Only a few people have actually expressed their disgust over Negan: Michonne, Maggie and Carl. All the others just want to play safe and survive. Killing Judith could be the last straw and could ignite a rebellion that will overthrow Negan and the Saviours.
There are also other plot possibilities for a midseason scare. Instead of Judith, Negan could turn to Carl or maybe Rick. Negan seems to have a soft side when it comes to women and children in the comic books so there is about 20% chance that Judith lives considering that the TV series is not completely following the comics to the T.
