Overwatch News: Chrismas Event To Hit The Game On Dec 13, New Skins & Music Revealed
Overwatch has recently seen the update of Oasis Map. Now the game will have a superlative beginning of its holiday event. Overwatch Christmas event will start on December 13. The rumor was confirmed by the Overwatch authorities on December 6.
According to PC GAMER, the announcement was seen on the official Twitter account of "Overwatch". The game has recently been a subject of enormous hype. With its latest range of updates, it has sought loads of buzz among the gamers. This Overwatch Christmas event is also expected to introduce a lot of new stuffs associated with the game.
The twitter post of Overwatch's Christmas festivities unveils a ravishing Christmas card with an animated addition depicting an image of a Dickensian King's Row. The welcoming message inside the card stated "It's the most wonderful time of the year and we hope you join us for some holiday cheer," as per EUROGAMER.
Not much has been revealed alongside the animated card about its upcoming additions or extensions, However, if we go by the presentation, it hints that King's Row will be turned into one of the scenes from "A Christmas Carol" or similar portions.
Although, there are no indications provided by the authorities of how the celebration will be held. But if it' is anything like Overwatch's previous themed events, we can expect presents in the form of new character skins, emotes, voice lines, and other cosmetics.
There are also questions raised about Santa's appearance in the game. If the Chrismas Party is in full stake which character will be dressed as Santa? Will he bring gifts for everyone around? these queries still remain unanswered.
Besides all these, there are also speculations booming around for action scenes like Dr.Junkenstein's Revenge, The only thing which can be considered as an evidence is the Christmas "Overwatch" theme music.
