Robert Downey Jr Confirmed In 'Avengers Infinity Wars'; Actor Praises Tom Holland's Acting
It is confirmed. The upcoming Avengers Infinity Wars movie will see the return of Iron Man to be played by the most loved and only fitting actor, Robert Downey Jr. This is a spectacular news because it confirms that he will be with Marvel for at least another few years.
According to an exclusive done by ET Online, he was interviewed during an event and was asked whether or not he will be continuing as Iron Man. To which he very graciously replied and confirmed that there will be no Iron Man but him for the upcoming movie.
This will be the eighth overall movie where he plays the collective role of Tony Stark/Iron Man. This is quite a breakthrough as Robert Downey Jr beats the record for most actors in terms of playing the same role in many different movies.
During the interview, it was revealed that they already have a starting date set. He also mentioned that he has "yet to be released" from his Marvel Contract. Implying the fact that he is sarcastically stuck as a way of undermining this amazing news.
However, he also talks quite a bit about the other movie is going to be starring in as Tony Stark, that movie is of course Spiderman: Homecoming. According to the International Business Times, he compliments the young Tom Holland quite a bit.
He says he does not want to play favorites here but Tom does quite a great job of fitting in the role of what spiderman should be. He even calls him the perfect actor when it comes to taking on the role of a young superhero.
The trailer for Spiderman somewhat proves that as well. The new Spiderman Movie is surely going to be a good one because the main actor is good as well. Plus with the role of Tony Stark in this movie alongside with Avengers Infinity Wars confirms the rapid movement the Marvel Cinematic Universe is taking on.
Now all one can do is anxiously wait for the movies to be released.
