Kim Kardashian & Kanye West to Wed in Florence, Italy: Couple Is Renting Fortress, Wearing Ermanno Scervino to Lavish Wedding
Last week, leaked photos of celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding invitation surfaced on the Internet. But to much surprise, no address was written on the invitation.
Us Weekly last reported that the gold-lettered invite did not include the exact location of the wedding because guests would be informed about where to go on the eve of the wedding ceremony at a dinner scheduled for 6 p.m.
Clearly, the couple did some planning in case the paparazzi got a hold of the invite, but it seems that they didn't quite plan enough.
News of their wedding location was recently leaked, and it looks like the Hollywood's star couple will wed in Florence, Italy.
People Magazine revealed that Kim and Kanye will marry at the Forte di Belvedere.
Forte di Belvedere is an imposing fortress dating from the 16th century that originally protected the Italian city and its Renaissance palace from attackers.
Beware, paparazzi.
The cost to rent the venue is rumored to be around 300,000 euros.
The couple is also rumored to be wearing Ermanno Scervino designs on the day of the lavish wedding, the same designer that Kim wore for her 33rd birthday party, People reported.
Although the news of the exact wedding guest list remains a mystery, it's pretty safe to say that comedian Joan Rivers will not take part in the wedding.
On Thursday, during the NBC Upfronts, Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe requested that Joan Rivers be seated far away from the Kardashian clan.
Rivers has had a history of making fun of the Kardashian family and even went as far as calling Kim Kardashian's daughter "ugly."
Naturally, since the nasty remarks, Kim Kardashian has not been too fond of Rivers.
"Kim and Khloe both don't want drama and can't fake it anymore with Joan, so they asked the staff to keep them separate," an Us Weekly source said.
The "Kim-ye" wedding is scheduled for the weekend of May 24.
