"Dragon Ball Super" is on its way to a new arc as confirmed by the February 2017 issue of Shueisha V Jump magazine. The new story arc visuals confirms that Son Goku will not die in the hands of assassin Hit but will go on as the hero of 'Universal Survival' with his Universe 7 team. The new arc is set to premiere on February 5, 2017 on Fuji TV.

Anime News Network reported that the visuals for 'Universe Survival' confirms that Goku will be returning together with Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Android 17 and 18, Master Roshi, Tenshinhan and Majin Buu. This formidable team will surely be unbeatable as they fight against other universes in the next arc.

The report also mentioned that aside from premiering on Fuji TV, "Dragon Ball Super" will also be streamed via Crunchyroll, AnimeLab and Daisuki. These online streaming platforms will show the anime series with English subtitles.

Comic Book also announced the good news but recapped the last arc of the series. Everyone got confused with the news that Goku will perish in the hands of Hit on episode 71 with the title even saying that the hero will die. However, even if Hit is more skilled than Goku a universal rule prevents him from killing the hero.

Past arcs such as the 'Future Trunks' saga also revealed that Goku is alive and well in the future so how could him dying in the present be true? Goku indeed survives Hit, but how did he do it? The answer will soon be featured in episode 72 and its either Goku develops some kind of new power to shield himself from Hit's assassination attempts or if Hit spares his life.

Of course fans would just have to watch the final episodes of the arc on Fuji TV to find out what happens to the intergalactic "Dragon Ball Super" hero as he survives Hit.
