In celebration of its recently released The High Life Update, Rockstar Games is treating Grand Theft Auto Online players to The High Life Event Weekend, which lasts until the end of Sunday.
During the event, gamers can enjoy RP and GTA$ bonuses throughout Los Santos.
"Step out from your luxe Los Santos pad, and take that shiny new Dinka Thrust or Massacro out for a spin to reap special GTA$ and RP bonuses happening all around town as part of the High Life Social Club Event Weekend," Rockstar Games announced via its Newswire page. "We've got a slate of weekend-only opportunities to get bonus RP and increased GTA$ payouts plus chances to score rare gear and GTA$ prizes."
From now through Sunday, gamers will get double the GTA$ for completing High Stakes Impromptu Races and triple RP bonuses when playing golf and tennis.
"For all high rollers, the Max Bet limit for all Jobs will be raised to GTA$10,000 so you can lay both cash and cajones on the table," Rockstar Games added.
In addition, players should keep their eyes peeled for Event Crate drops featuring sticky bombs, miniguns, heavy-duty RPGs and, of course, GTA$. The #HIGHLIFE Snapmatic contest is also in effect as well as the High Life Social Club Event Sweepstakes.
"Five lucky winners will each win the limited-edition GTA Five Iron Golf Club as well as official GTAV t-shirts and stickers," Rockstar Games explained. "Ten runners-up will also score Rockstar Prize Packs of an official t-shirt and stickers."
The High Life Update was added to the online version of "Grand Theft Auto V" on Tuesday, May 13. The update added four new vehicles, a new motorcycle and the Bullpup Rifle to Legendary Motorsport. In addition, the update brings fancy new clothes, vehicle horns, 15 new Jobs and "player toasts/celebrations," as described by the game developer.
