The Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black" is so good that even Rosie O'Donnell admitted she wanted in on the action.

"I begged," O'Donnell revealed to Entertainment Tonight on the Thursday night New York premiere of 'OITNB.' "After I saw the first two episodes, I'm like, 'Who do I call?' Let me get knifed in a shower -- someone give me a part on this."

So could O'Donnell's appearance at the "OITNB" premiere be evidence that her begging worked?

Maybe. But so far there's been no official word yet on O'Donnell joining the cast.

O'Donnell explained to ET that the reason behind her walk on the red carpet was because her friend and fellow "OITNB" cast member Natasha Lyonne invited her to the premiere.

Though O'Donnell's appearance on the show remains a mystery, there was no question about how much she loves "OITNB."

When the leading ladies of "OITNB" began strolling down the red carpet, Entertainment Tonight reported that O'Donnell had a bit of a fan freak out, so to speak.

"Oh, my God. Oh, my God. They're all here," O'Donnell exclaimed. "This is crazy. This is the best female ensemble ever on TV."

Jenji Kohan, are you listening? Rosie wants in!

"OITNB" lead actress Taylor Schilling was also at the premiere and did provide some information regarding her character, Piper Chapman, but shied away from specific details about the show.

"I think that Piper is in a different situation than she's ever been in -- the circumstances of her life are more extreme than they've ever been. So she's finding new ways to cope, and that's bringing out new sides of her," she said.

All 13 episodes of "Orange Is The New Black" will premiere Friday, June 6, on Netflix. Will you be watching?
