'Alien: Covenant' Drops Terrifying, R-rated First Trailer for Christmas
Ridley Scott, an English very prominent director and producer will again sit on director's chair and terrify fans with alien world horror.
Although Ridley Scott claimed, as reported by EW, that scaring people is difficult than making them laugh, he is back for more of his creative talents unleashed for this great film.
Digital Spy reported that Ridley thought he'd left science fiction for too long, that he had better climb back in. "Prometheus was a great experience for me. Chasing number two, we can start evolving the grand idea," he added.
Alien: Covenant, ( at first titled Alien: Paradise Lost) scheduled to be released on theaters May 19, 2017 is the Prometheus 2 since some of its cast will return such as Michael Fassbender as David the android. He survived from the doomed Prometheus expedition. Included in the casts are Katherine Waterstone, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollet, and Billy Crudup.
Those who have watched Prometheus 2012 may ask, what happened to Michael Fassbender and Elizabeth Shaw, after they set out into space at the end of the previous film? How did David end up on this planet? And where did Elizabeth go? How much time has passed? This prequel would give answers with such questions.
"Alien: Covenant" is the same from its very first "Alien" (Sigourney Weaver) which featured thrilling encounters against aliens. Covenant is the name of the ship which the crew boarded this time.
Xenomorph will be seen again, Ridley had denied this at first but the trailer showed it as fully grown to make vengeance.
It can be recalled that 2012's "Prometheus" received some critics but it still banked a hefty $400 million at the worldwide box office. Now, this sequel promised a much terrifying with the loved space and alien struggles.
Who could ever resist this awesome movie with its fantastic alien adventures?
