DC's 'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 2 Returns January 24: Episode 9 Official Trailer, Spoilers Revealed
"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" will be off the air for 2 months. On the bright side, spoilers about the upcoming episode are now available online as well as the official promo clip for episode 9 titled 'Raiders of the Lost Art'.
"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 is currently taking a 2-month long break. The next episode which was slated to air on Thursday, December 15, 2016, has been postponed to air next year January 24, 2017.
Because of that, The CW decided to fill in the show's time slot with holiday music special titled "iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2016". Also, the network is yet to release the official plot synopsis of the newest episode.
"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 9 will deal with a stolen painting with Eobard Thawne, aka Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) as the Legends' prime suspect. Titled "Raiders of the Lost Art," the episode will also feature Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) coming face to face with the Waverider's former captain, Rip, who was last seen directing a movie about himself in the show's midseason finale, IMDB reports.
In addition to that, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 can possibly bring Matt Ryan's John Constantine on board. After his brief appearance on "Arrow" following NBC's cancellation of "Constantine," fans have been wondering when the character will return to the Arrow-verse, Inverse has learned.
"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 9 is titled as "Raiders of the Lost Art". The superhero series returns Tuesday, January 24, 2017, with a brand new time slot at 9:00 p.m. EST first and exclusive on The CW.
"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" is an American superhero action-adventure television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, and showrunner Phil Klemmer, who are also executive producers along with Sarah Schechter and Chris Fedak.
