'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Returns January 13: Series Regular to Exit Show; Episode 13 Plot Synopsis Revealed
Soon after the thrilling midseason premiere of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7, the team will have to say goodbye to someone who has been with them since the first season. Aside from that, the official plot description of episode 13 'Ua ho'i ka 'opua i Awalua' are provided here, as well as the episode 11 'Ka 'ilu Aku' recap.
In the upcoming episode 13 titled "Ua ho'i ka 'ōpua i Awalua (The Clouds Always Return to Alawua), medical examiner Dr. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) says ohana as he moves to Africa with his new wife Sabrina Lane (Rumer Wilis).
Oka decided to officially exit the show since he felt that Max's arc was already complete. Oka revealed to Entertainment Weekly. "I think character-wise I felt like Max had done too much of everything he can do," adding that his commute to Hawaii from both Los Angeles and Japan had become too taxing."
As for the official plot synopsis of episode 13, Spoilers Guide notes, "As Dr. Max Bergman (presumably Max Takeshita) prepares to say goodbye to his Five-0 ohana, they must investigate a murder during a police convention on the Island. "
It can be recalled that in the previous episode 11 "Ka 'ilu Aku", Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that the Five-0 discovered that the cartel had kidnapped Sara Diaz (Londyn Silzer) in an effort to lure the team to Mexico. All along, the group's plan had been to take revenge on the Five-0.
