Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs, Release Date: Might Run With Whopping 8GB RAM, UFS 2.1 Storage; Launch Pushed Back to April
After the commercial failure of Samsung Galaxy S7 Note, Samsung will need to launch a strong product to get back on the track. They’re betting big on their upcoming smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S8, which will be released in April next year. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the next flagship of the tech giant company.
It will have a massive 8GB of RAM, according to Ice Universe, a well know tipster for Samsung phones, as per report of MySmartPrice. Likewise, Samsung will be using its own 10nm fabrication technology.
The rumor ranger also tipped that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be using the company’s UFS 2.1 flash storage. The earlier rumors suggested that Samsung Galaxy S8 will have 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a whooping figure to be honest.
And not only that, next year, there will be a fit between the Galaxy S series and Galaxy Note series, called the Galaxy S8 Plus. It is a 6-inch super AMOLED display, whilst the Samsung Galaxy S8 has 5-inch Super AMOLED display.
The bigger display may not be bigger though, as Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has been tipped with very thin bezels. This increase in the display of the S8 Plus is not really surprising because of the effects of the massive recall of the Galaxy Note 7.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be launched alongside the Galaxy S8. A new feature called “Beast Mode” is also rumored to be with the Galaxy S8. The feature was spotted in a trademark application from Europe.
Not much is known about this feature though. We have to wait for the release to satisfy our curiosity.
A recent report from NDTV also claimed that Samsung has pushed back the launch of its alleged Galaxy S8 smartphone back to April 2017 from February 2017 earlier in order to gain confidence from consumers before making it available worldwide.
These rumors are still rumors though. We need to wait for Samsung’s official announcement to confirm all these speculations about Galaxy S8 so stay tuned for more exciting updates!
