Maroon 5 fans will be in for a treat come this September.

According to the band's website, the rock-pop band is slated to release their fifth studio album on Sept. 2 through their new label, Interscope Records.

The new album, which is titled "V," was produced by heavyweights Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin, who also produced their last album back in 2012. In addition, their long-time keyboardist, Jesse Carmichael, will also be brought back for the record, Billboard.com reported.

The California band dropped a teaser on their Instagram page about the upcoming LP, posting a photo of leader singer Adam Levine working inside of a studio, with a cup in his hand and the caption "Guess what we're working on? #album5.″

In addition to the new album, the group is also planning to go on a world tour this summer since the LA-based boy band signed a deal with Live Nation. They will announce their tour dates in the next few weeks, MTV News reported.

The "She Will Be Loved" singers were previously signed to A&M/Octone through a joint venture between Universal Music Group and Octone Records. However, once Universal label Interscope Geffen A&M acquired the remaining 50 percent of the venture, all of its artists, including Maroon 5, made the switch to Interscope.

The Grammy-Award winning group's last album, "Overexposed," was released back in 2012 and included a number of smash hits, including "Payphone," "Daylight," "Love Somebody" and "One More Night."

The album topped the Billboard charts and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

There's no word on whether or not Adam Levine will continue his gig as a judge on NBC's "The Voice." However, he will be included in the show's season seven cycle.

The group started in the 1990s and has gone on to produce a slew of smash records.
