Jennifer Lopez is having a good year. Her 10th studio album "A.K.A" will be released June 17, she was honored with the 2014 Billboard Music Icon Award and she is now the owner of Fuse TV after outbidding ex-boyfriend P.Diddy for the title. We must admit the world is "loving that J.Lo true."

The Puerto Rican star is putting her author's hat on with the release of her book "True Love" in English and Spanish on Oct. 28. Jennifer told People that the book was originally just a diary she kept during her world tour. "What's funny is, I didn't start off the project wanting to bare my soul in print. It started off as a diary of the year I went on tour ... and when I was on the road, it became something else. I really surprised myself, and I realized, 'Oh my god, I'm writing this book.'"

What the Hispanic community does love about "Jenny from the Block" is her constant appreciation for her roots. Even while accepting her Billboard Icon Award, she took some time to thank her Latin fans specifically in Spanish. The proceeds for the book will all be donated to her Lopez Family Foundation, which works to improve the lives of women and children. And for that, "we luh you mami."

"Even to this day, I think, 'Do I put this book out there?' I did a lot of soul searching and praying, because I don't ever want it to be mistaken for anything other than [what] it was, which is sharing something I learned with people I could help," said Lopez. We hope that we can learn more about the usually private singer and actress and that The Bronx will feel a little more appreciated by all that she's doing lately.

Jennifer Lopez will be having a free concert in the vicinity of her old neighborhood in The Bronx on June 4. Don't forget to pick up a copy of "True Love" on Oct. 28.
