Bayern Munich has been one of the most active teams in the transfer market over the last few years. The team has been active in picking up young talent including Thiago Alcantara, Mario Goetze and Mario Lewandowksi. The team is also rumored to have interest in 21-year-old Julian Draxler. With such an influx of young talent, there are rumors that some of the team's veterans may be on the way out. Among those players in the rumor mill are Thomas Mueller and Arjen Robben.

Mueller is not exactly old at 24, but there are many that believe that the duo of Goetze and Alcantara makes him dispensable in the long run. However, Mueller does not think that he is leaving the Bavarian team anytime soon.

"Over the past few weeks, months and years there has always been speculation,"Mueller said during a news conference in Munich. "And you could always see the results of them until now.

"Interest from the outside is not unwelcome, but currently there is no reason to switch sides."

Robben is 30 years old and relies heavily on his speed down the flank. One would assume that the constant pace of Robben's game would eventually show its taxing nature on the player. As a result, Munich may look to move him before that time comes. Throw in the fact that manager Pep Guardiola plays a methodic passing game that slows down the game significantly, and you have all the reasons in the world to move Robben. However, the Dutchman is not concerned about leaving the team anytime soon.

Adding to the intrigue, Robben is awaiting a contract extension.

"I have nothing to prove to anyone. What happens, happens," Robben said in an interview with AZ. "I wait, I am relaxed. The club has to make a move, and they will."

Should Bayern Munich get rid of Mueller or Robben?
