This year, Jay Z is about to make history with the "Made In America" festival, which is set to take place simultaneously in two cities on opposite coasts, which makes it the first of its kind. The festival, which will feature multiple genres of music on six separate stages, will be in Philadelphia and Los Angeles on Aug. 30 and Aug. 31, respectively. Official announcements are made in waves on the festival's official Twitter account. So far the East Coast lineup includes major performances from big names, such as Kanye West, Tiesto, Kings of Leon, and The National, Pharrell Williams, Chromeo, and Spoon. Other acts include performances by Girl Talk, De La Soul, Grimes, Mayer Hawthorne, City and Colour, AwolNation, R3hab, Gareth Emery, Baauer, Tommy Trash, Kongos, and many more. It will be held at the Benjamin Parkway.

On the other side of things, the West Coast counterpart will feature Imagine Dragons, John Mayer, Rise Against, Kendrick Lamar, Steve Aoki, Juanes, AfroJack, Weezer, Metric, Sublime with Rome, Chance the Rapper, Capital Cities, Cypress Hill, ScHoolboy Q, Borgore, Wolfang Gartner, DVBBS, YG, 12th Planet, Mute Math, Nipsey Hussle, Rita Ora, Dr. Dog, ZZ Ward, Terraplane Sun, Classixx, Hit-Boy, Ab-Soul, DJ Mustard, Isaiah Rashad, SZA, Jay Rock, Yellowclaw, Grits & Biscuits, Cut Snake, Will Sparks, Scavenger Hunt, and A Tribe Called Red. The festival will bring together different genres such as rap, rock, and EDM, among others. Quite obviously, completely different lineups will be performing in the two events. However, posters appear to mention names of bands or artists for both events. This might mean that the lineups are not yet final and are still subject to change.

Budweiser has partnered with Rizon, which created the posters and photorealistic 3D renderings of their promotional materials, according to ComplexMusic. The news of the festival came with reports of a joint tour of Jay Z and Beyonce, possibly this summer. Presale for both locations is available on Ticketmaster.
