Demi Lovato landed on Maxim's Hot 100 List at No. 40, and she spoke to the magazine about what sexiness means to her.

"To me, sexiness stems from being confident and comfortable in your own skin," she said.

When she was asked what her favorite part of her body was, she said, "my butt."

The 21-year-old singer also explained why she doesn't put sex in her music.

"Sex is a part of life and it's a personal decision," she said. "Some people put it in their music, which is awesome and good for them. But for me, there's still that weird feeling in the back of my head that's like, All right, I know that my mom and dad are going to hear it and my little sister, and that's really weird for me."

She also told the magazine what she looks for in a guy: someone who is genuine, supportive, real and can make her laugh.

Lovato is always looking to move forward.

"The ability to work at bettering myself -- I'm not perfect, no one is, but I'm working at becoming better every day," she said. "Every day I can look back and say I'm in a better place than I was yesterday."

Her album "Demi" recently received a bump in sales. To celebrate its one year of being released, the album was reissued with a brand new track and offered at a discounted price, said Billboard. Many people were enticed as the album got a 695 percent increase in sales, landing it on the Billboard charts at 18.
